Maroon 5 rocked up to a London recording studio last week for the Coca-Cola Music 24hr Session where they were first artists ever to write and record a brand new track, inspired by fans from around the world, in just 24 hours. The entire experience was filmed and streamed live on Coca-Cola.com/music.
Fans from over 139 countries took a virtual seat in the studio with the band to watch the creative process unfold and lend their thoughts and inspirations through a Twitter feed that was projected onto the walls of the studio direct to the band.
PunchBowl Blog visited the band at the studio and spoke to them during a break!
Adam Levine joked [we think] that he hated Pepsi so was especially happy to be involved with the project and that the most bizarre tweet that had come through was a request for the band to make a song about puppies.
We also got a chance to speak to Adam about his new talent show ‘The Voice’ which he said to be especially excited about due to it being different to other talent shows and that he would not be going out to compete with the likes of X Factor and American Idol.
The track will be available to download for free through Coca-Cola.com/music from 1st April
